Bio Sketch

William A. Bianco is a partner in the firm's trial department. He has handled a wide variety of business related litigation matters in federal and state trial and appellate courts. Mr. Bianco served as a lead lawyer, managing litigation teams, in many complex civil lawsuits including:  representation of the court appointed Securities Investor Protection Act Trustee for the liquidation of the largest penny stock brokerage firm in the country at that time, which included investigation and successful pursuit of claims against the principal of the broker/dealer for self dealing, breach of fiduciary duties, fraudulent conveyances, and liability based on alter ego status;  representation of a foreign automobile manufacturer in a suit claiming patent infringement and misappropriation of trade secrets;  defense of one of the country's largest banks in litigation involving the bank's investment advisors and trust department;  representation of a sugar company and its principals in a class action lawsuit filed on behalf of several thousand sugar beet growers in five states;  representation of a major defense contractor in litigation filed by senior executives terminated for illegal contracting practices;   and defense of steel manufacturers in cases involving significant structural failures. He has also represented parties involved in construction disputes, distressed projects, and real estate matters, as well as insurance coverage and environmental issues.  He is also involved in the negotiation of construction contracts.
