Charles Casteel has successfully defended hundreds of product liability cases over the past 20 years and has had more than 20 jury trials. He has also counseled and litigated the resolution of numerous commercial contract, employment discrimination, and tort claim disputes including insurance coverage and fraud issues. He has worked with several automobile manufacturers, producers of construction, farming, mining, railroad machinery and equipment, and insurance companies. Casteel has also represented steel, pharmaceutical, drug, vaccine, chemical, and aircraft component part manufacturers and distributors in product liability cases. He has been the firm's lead counsel in a number of significant cases involving issues of first impression, including the first appellate court ruling in any state holding that passive restraints are not required in early model motor vehicles.
