Bio Sketch
Thomas P. Johnson has been engaged in the practice of commercial litigation and defense of white-collar crime matters since 1981. Prior to that, Mr. Johnson was a federal prosecutor in Chicago, Illinois. He has handled lawsuits, including class actions, involving proxy contests and corporate take-overs, banking matters involving lender liability, foreclosures and complex collections, franchise disputes, defense and prosecution of securities fraud claims, natural resources cases involving take-or-pay commitments, pricing disputes, preemptive rights and a variety of contract disputes, real estate and leasing matters commonly involving allegations of fraud and misrepresentation, bankruptcy litigation, employment-related disputes, health care industry matters, distributorship terminations, unfair trade practices cases including false advertising and theft of trade secret claims, and white collar crime defense. Mr. Johnson has extensive jury trial experience and has argued numerous matters before state and federal appellate courts.
