Paul Means comes to DGS with experience in all areas of real estate transactions, including leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development and joint ventures. As an associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in San Francisco, Mr. Means represented pension fund advisors and real estate investment companies in acquiring and financing portfolios of commercial and industrial properties, including a sophisticated joint venture transaction involving the transfer of over $2 billion worth of properties in 26 states. Mr. Means also represented public entities and development companies in several high profile projects. As an associate at Miller, Starr & Regalia in Walnut Creek, California, Mr. Means expanded his practice to include retail leasing and construction lending work. Mr. Means is currently working with Colorado developers on joint ventures for mixed-use transit oriented projects as well as matters related to office and restaurant franchise leasing.
