Stephanie Ries has diverse litigation experience that includes business, intellectual property, trade secret, and securities litigation. Ms. Ries has represented clients in state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation, as well as SEC, NASD, and EEOC investigations and proceedings.

Ms. Ries brings unique perspective to the areas of intellectual property and trade secret litigation. As an undergraduate, Ms. Ries earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. This background assists her in understanding the scientific principles prevalent in intellectual property-type cases. In addition, Ms. Ries served as a member of the firm’s labor and employment group. As such, Ms. Ries gained an appreciation of an employer’s viewpoint when presented with sensitive intellectual property and trade secret issues surrounding hiring and firing of employees.
