We represented an investment group during its purchase of a manufacturing company, and in connection with the purchase conducted a comprehensive environmental audit of the company.  We identified numerous compliance issues, including hazardous waste issues, during the audit.  After the transaction was concluded, we represented the company in self-reporting to the State and EPA all past violations and coming into compliance with environmental regulations.  No enforcement actions were filed against the company as a result of its self-disclosures.
