Wallis S. Stromberg engages in a diverse health law practice, including the representation of physicians, hospitals, provider networks and other health care providers. Mr. Stromberg’s representation of clients has included advice on contracting, the organization, sale and acquisition of their businesses, employment matters, financing transactions, recruitment, real estate transactions, compliance with Medicare Fraud and Abuse and Stark laws, HIPAA issues, antitrust concerns, tax exempt organization concerns and other operational matters.

Some of Mr. Stromberg’s recent projects included:

• Sale of a large physician medical group practice to a health care system.
• Formation of a joint venture to operate urgent care centers.
• Structuring a hospital-physician joint management agreement to operate a specialty care unit.
• Formation of a multi-disciplinary practice involving physicians, chiropractors and physical therapists.
• Formation of several joint ventures to acquire and operate dialysis facilities.
• Advising a large multi-specialty group practice on Stark and anti-kickback issues relating to ancillary services.
• Restructuring an "under arrangement" contract for services to a hospital.

Mr. Stromberg is a frequent lecturer on health law issues for continuing education programs, professional organizations, and health care provider groups. He is a member of the American, Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, the American Health Lawyers Association and the Medical Group Management Association. He has been recognized and listed in Colorado Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America in health law.
