Glen Keller came to the firm in 1982 after serving eight years as United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Colorado. During that tenure, he served under special assignment from the Chief Judge of the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in the Districts of New Mexico and Utah. Prior to his judicial service, Mr. Keller was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Colorado in the fields of banking & savings and loan law from 1973 to 1974. Since leaving the bench, Mr. Keller has practiced extensively in the field of bankruptcy law, creditors’ rights and general commercial litigation. He has participated in most of the major bankruptcy cases in Colorado, including serving as debtor’s counsel in one of the largest successful Chapter 11 cases in the district. Additionally, Mr. Keller has been appointed trustee by the United States District Court in four significant proceedings under the Securities Investor Protection Act of 1970, the most recent of which has required securing assets in Asia and Europe as well as in the United States. He has practiced extensively in Wyoming, Oklahoma, Iowa, New Mexico, and Utah.

Mr. Keller has been appointed a Chapter 11 Examiner by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona and has twice been appointed a Settlement Mediator by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Mexico.

Mr. Keller is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and has taught there each year since 1976. He has also lectured at numerous seminars in the field of bankruptcy law for Continuing Legal Education of Colorado, the Wyoming Bar Association, the New Mexico Bar Association, and the National Business Institute. He serves as a member of the Executive Committee and is past president of the Colorado Lawyer’s Committee, an organization devoted to large pro bono cases seeking systemic reform. He has been twice honored by the Colorado Lawyer's Committee. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® since 1987.
