Dale Harris has a broad commercial litigation practice, representing clients in complex business and commercial trials and appeals, including antitrust and trade regulation, securities law, business torts, fraud, breach of contract, dealer terminations, and other business and commercial issues. He advises clients on issues involved in pricing, marketing and distribution practices, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. Mr. Harris also is an experienced mediator and arbitrator of business and commercial disputes and lawsuits. Representative cases handled as mediator or arbitrator include antitrust issues, business torts, fraud, breach of contract, and shareholder disputes.
A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Mr. Harris also is a past president of both the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association. He served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mile High United Way, and is a member of the Colorado Supreme Court Judicial Advisory Council, the Board of Directors of the Rocky Mountain Arthritis Foundation, the Board of Directors of QuaLife Wellness Community and the Executive Committee of the Two Percent Club. He has been the Colorado State Chairman of the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation and is a Fellow of the Colorado Bar Foundation. He has been president of the Colorado Association of Corporate Counsel and president of the Denver Law Club. Mr. Harris has served on the Boards of Trustees of the Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado, the Colorado Lawyer Trust Account Foundation, the Denver Bar Association, CBA Lend-A-Lawyer, Inc., the Board of Directors of the Colorado Judicial Institute, and the Colorado Bar Association Board of Governors. He is a member of the Denver Rotary Club, The Colorado Forum, and various other civic organizations.
Mr. Harris has received the Colorado Bar Association’s Award of Merit, the Denver Bar Association’s Award of Merit, the Law Club’s Lifetime Achievement Award and the Arthritis Foundation’s Eleanor P. Williams Award in recognition of his service to the profession and the community. He has been listed for many years in The Best Lawyers in America®, Chambers USA Client Guide, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, and was named a 2006 Colorado Top 50 Super Lawyer by Law & Politics Magazine.
