Pantea Garroussi advises clients on identifying, acquiring, protecting, and commercializing intellectual property rights. Her practice includes helping clients to devise and implement company policies and procedures to enhance the value of a company’s intellectual property rights and assets, including drafting employee IP rights policies and manuals; copyright and trademark registrations; patent licensing; trademark use, licensing, and policing standards; trade secret and proprietary database compilation and retention policies; and coordinated R&D strategies.

Ms. Garroussi brings extensive experience and creative counseling to assist clients with all aspects of technology and intellectual property matters, including technology development transactions; print and electronic publishing agreements; website development, hosting, and services agreements; hardware, software, and services procurement transactions; joint development and marketing relationships and strategic alliances; domestic and international licensing, distribution, OEM and VAR agreements; government and university funded or sponsored development and licensing agreements; enforcing intellectual property rights and resolving disputes; conducting and responding to software audits; and complying with regulations governing on-line commerce.

Prior to attending college, Ms. Garroussi was schooled in Tokyo, Japan. She speaks Farsi and Japanese, and conversational Spanish and German.
