Nicole Martinet is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Finance & Acquisition Group. Her principal areas of practice include representing public and private companies in securities offerings, corporate financings and mergers and acquisitions. Her practice also includes counseling clients on securities disclosure and compliance issues and corporate governance matters. She has experience in a variety of industries, including representing public company clients in mining, oil and gas, real estate and office supplies.

Ms. Martinet frequently works with other attorneys in the Corporate Finance & Acquisitions Group to complete large or complex transactions. She has been involved in a number of recent transactions, including:

• representing a publicly-traded mining company in the completion of a $155 million public offering of shares;
• representing a publicly-traded oil and gas company in a $52 million sale of an oil field services subsidiary;
• representing a private company in the creation of a $125 million oil and gas investment fund.

Ms. Martinet received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and earned the Order of St. Ives, an honor accorded to graduates ranking in the top 10% of the class. Ms. Martinet received her B.S. in Economics and B.S. in French and Francophone Studies from Santa Clara University. During law school, Ms. Martinet served as a Senior Staff Editor for the Denver University Law Review and worked as an intern for the Honorable Phillip S. Figa in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Ms. Martinet is a member of the Colorado and American Bar Associations.
