DGS represents property owners whose properties are being condemned by municipalities, redevelopment authorities, and state transportation departments. We work with property owners to evaluate the proposed condemnation, quantify the effect of the condemnation on the value of the property, determine the extent of recoverable damages, and develop a negotiation and trial strategy to achieve the property owner’s objectives. We work closely with real estate and personal property appraisers, land planners and engineers and know how to present a property owner’s case most effectively.
