We defended a hazardous waste hauler in a State of Ohio and EPA investigation arising from an explosion at its facility which resulted in the death of an employee.  The case involved numerous alleged RCRA permit violations, and we worked the State, FBI, EPA and United States Department of Justice to persuade the regulators not to file criminal charges against the company.  The investigation resulted in a negotiated civil settlement with the State and federal government and no criminal charges were filed.
