DGS works with clients in all stages of hard rock mining exploration and development.  For example, we have assisted major mining companies in obtaining rights to explore and develop lands within a national monument in Alaska and a wilderness area in Montana.  We recently counseled clients on extralateral rights associated with mining claims in California and with respect to a plan of operations for a large mine in Nevada.  We have served as lead counsel for mining companies in litigation in Alaska, California, and Nevada as well as Rocky Mountain West states such as Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado.
