Case Study:  Coalbed Methane Operations

Permits and like approvals are routinely required for water production from coalbed methane operations and air emissions from production and transportation facilities.  We have assisted clients in obtaining such approvals, from negotiating water development plans with landowners and other stakeholders in the Powder River Basin to obtaining air permits for large transportation compressors in the San Juan Basin.  We routinely work with regulators such as those in the Bureau of Land Management’s Buffalo, Wyoming office, the Southern Ute Indian Tribe in Colorado, and the Bureau of Land Management’s Farmington, New Mexico office in obtaining those authorizations.
