Amy Bowles

Amy Bowles is a senior associate in the Trial Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and white collar defense and investigations. She was previously an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York. She has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including bench and jury trials and appeals. She is also experienced in internal and government-facing investigations. Ms. Bowles’ past and current clients include companies in the technology, scientific, media, retail, and private equity spaces, and she is experienced in a wide range of substantive areas, including antitrust, contract, economic torts, employment, construction defect, and expedited M&A and bankruptcy-related proceedings. She is admitted in Colorado and New York, along with several federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ms. Bowles was born and raised in Denver and received her J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where she served as a lead article editor for the UC Irvine Law Review. Following law school, she was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Honorable Gene E.K. Pratter of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Bowles has participated in the Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce Mentorship Program and Rose Community Foundation’s Generation Now Circle.

Representative Matters

• Represent private fiber company in connection with complex dispute concerning fiber routes.
• Represented institutional defendants in antitrust action relating to alleged monopolistic practices, including a three-week jury trial in the Southern District of New York.
• Represented acquiring company in expedited litigation arising out of terminated merger agreement. Settled days before trial.
• Represented public scientific company in multimillion dollar construction defect action. Settled days before trial.
• Represented debtor media company in Chapter 11 reorganization through expedited litigation, contested confirmation hearing, post-trial briefing, and related proceedings.
• Represented and advised Special Committee of the Board of a public financial services institution in investigation of whistleblower allegations involving senior executives.
• Represented and advised private equity firm in connection with SEC’s and foreign regulators’ inquiry into portfolio company.
• Undertook several internal investigations at public companies in response to alleged or potential employee conduct, including insider trading.
