Donald J. O’Connor joined Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP in 1958. He has served as president of the Greater Denver Tax Counsels’ Association, chairman of the Tax Section of the Colorado Bar Association, co-general counsel and director of the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry, director of the Colorado Public Expenditure Council, and a member of the Colorado Board of Psychology Examiners. Mr. O’Connor is former chairman of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry Educational Foundation.
Mr. O’Connor has lectured on corporate and partnership income tax issues at various tax institutes sponsored by the University of Denver, Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, Practicing Law Institute, and American Law Institute.
Mr. O’Connor received both his undergraduate degree and his law degree from Cornell University (B.A., 1953; LL.B., 1958). From 1953 to 1955, he served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. O’Connor is a member of the bars of the State of Colorado, U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and U.S. Tax Court.
