Elizabeth Griffith

Elizabeth Griffith is of counsel in the Energy & Mining Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP.

Prior to joining DGS, Ms. Griffith worked for an exploration and production company headquartered in Denver, which focused on developing oil and gas reserves across the Rocky Mountain Region. While there, she played a key role in negotiating and reviewing several types of contracts for the upstream contract program. Ms. Griffith also served as a contractual risk attorney for an integrated financial services company. During this time, she analyzed over 1,000 B2B contracts from a legal and insurance perspective, offering in-depth analysis. In addition, Ms. Griffith communicated practical and innovative solutions to clients and teams regarding risk, leveraging her extensive knowledge of over a dozen industries. Earlier in her career, Ms. Griffith practiced immigration law at two boutique Colorado law firms, where she worked on a variety of cases, including Adjustment of Status, Naturalization, DACA, VAWA, U Status, Affirmative Asylum, SIJS, Advance Parole, and TVPRA.

Ms. Griffith received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During law school, she was a member of the Student Trial Lawyers Association. She earned her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Colorado Boulder.
