Erin Turban Miller is an associate in the Finance & Acquisitions Department of Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. Her practice focuses on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital financings, the formation of private equity funds and family offices, securities law disclosure and compliance, and corporate governance. Ms. Miller also regularly serves as outside corporate counsel to local privately-held companies.
She has represented pro bono clients in housing and immigration matters, and has also tutored elementary and high school students through Citizen Schools and Minds Matter in Boston and at University Preparatory Charter School in Denver.
Before joining DGS, Ms. Miller practiced in the Private Equity Transactions Group at Ropes & Gray LLP in Boston. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Colorado.
Ms. Miller received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she was the Grants Editor of the Berkeley Business Law Journal and worked as a volunteer advocate in the California Asylum Representation Clinic. During law school, she interned at the Criminal Appellate Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California.
She received her A.B. in History, graduating magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, from Bowdoin College, where she was a co-captain and member of the Women’s Varsity Swimming Team. Ms. Miller spent her junior year of college studying Modern European History & Politics at Oxford University in the United Kingdom. Her senior thesis received Bowdoin’s Samuel and Rose Bernstein Prize for Excellence in History.
