Hayden T. Weaver
Hayden Weaver is an associate in the Energy Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where his practice focuses on the oil and gas and natural resources industries. He assists clients in a wide variety of regulatory and transactional matters.
Mr. Weaver advises clients on regulations affecting the oil and gas industry in Colorado and other states. He also represents clients in rulemaking and administrative proceedings before government agencies. He has drafted and negotiated a broad range of agreements related to upstream oil and gas, including oil and gas leases, surface use agreements, joint operating agreements, and purchase and sale agreements. Mr. Weaver also has experience conducting oil and gas title examinations and drafting title opinions covering private, state, and federal lands.
While in law school, Mr. Weaver completed an externship with the U.S. Department of the Interior and served as a law clerk for the State of Utah’s Public Lands Policy Coordinating Office, where he researched public lands issues. Mr. Weaver also earned a Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation scholarship and was an environmental law research assistant for Professor Brigham Daniels.
