Katie Koehler is an associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where her practice focuses on corporate transactional law, including mergers and acquisitions, securities law, and general corporate matters. She was previously a summer associate at the firm. During that period, she reviewed public oil and gas purchase agreements and conducted due diligence for a buy-side asset purchase agreement and a sell-side acquisition.
While earning her law degree, Ms. Koehler gained experience through several internships, including at the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center and in the Juvenile Unit of the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office. Before pursuing a career as a lawyer, Ms. Koehler worked as an external auditor with Ernst & Young and was the Finance Director at Purple Door Coffee, a local non-profit that provided job-training to young adults experiencing homelessness.
Ms. Koehler holds a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she received a number of Scholastic Excellence Awards. She also holds a B.B.A. and an MPAcc. from the The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
