Katie Stern is an associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where her practice focuses on corporate transactional law, including mergers and acquisitions, securities law, capital markets transactions, corporate governance, and other general corporate matters across a broad range of industries.
Ms. Stern received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She also holds a B.B.A. and an MPAcc. from The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
Prior to joining DGS, Ms. Stern completed externships at the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center and in the Juvenile Unit of the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office. During law school, Ms. Stern was a summer associate at DGS in the Transactions Department.
Before pursuing a career as an attorney, Ms. Stern worked as an external auditor with Ernst & Young and was the Finance Director at Purple Door Coffee, a Denver-based nonprofit that provided job-training to young adults experiencing homelessness.
Ms. Stern is a member of the Mile High United Way Catalyst Society, a group of business leaders in the Denver Metro area focused on philanthropic and leadership development. Ms. Stern also serves on the Associate Committee and AI Task Force at DGS and is an active member of the DGS Book Club.
