Kristina Mattson is a staff attorney in the Natural Resources Department of Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. Prior to joining DGS, she worked at two boutique Colorado law firms where she assisted clients in responding to Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) natural resource damages claims. Ms. Mattson has significant trial and appellate litigation experience in environmental and commercial matters and has advised oil and gas clients in relation to federal oil and gas lease issues and Indian law involving U.S. Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs.
Ms. Mattson graduated from the University of Colorado Law School, where she was a member of the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law & Policy. She received her B.A. from Macalester College in Sociology & Legal Studies. During law school, Ms. Mattson interned at the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office. Ms. Mattson volunteers as a reading tutor and school fundraising chairperson. She also enjoys paddle boarding and baking.
