Nathan Bartell is an associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. His practice focuses on corporate and transactional law, including mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions, and general corporate matters. Prior to joining DGS, Mr. Bartell worked at a boutique Colorado law firm, first as a law clerk and later as the sole associate-level attorney in the firm’s Corporate Group and Real Estate Transactions Group. In addition to drafting, reviewing, and revising a wide range of business and real estate-related agreements, he facilitated more than $250 million in M&A deals across a variety of industries.
In 2020, Mr. Bartell received his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, where he was the recipient of several merit-based scholarships. He was involved in the University of Colorado Law Review and several student groups, including the Samuelson-Glushko Technology Law & Privacy Clinic. During law school, Mr. Bartell gained legal experience as a law clerk for Alterra Mountain Company and then as a legal extern in the Municipal Operations Section of the Denver City Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Bartell holds a B.A. in English Literature and a B.S. in Political Science from Northwestern University. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association, and is a 2015 alumnus of the Venture for America entrepreneurial fellowship.
