Nicole K. Rushovich is an associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where her practice focuses on environmental regulatory compliance, administrative proceedings, and litigation. She routinely represents clients before the Colorado Air Quality Control Commission and in enforcement actions. Ms. Rushovich also has experience in a variety of regulatory and litigation matters governed by the Clean Air Act, NEPA, RCRA, and CERCLA, as well as similar state environmental laws.
Prior to joining DGS, Ms. Rushovich was an attorney at another law firm headquartered in Denver. There, she represented clients in civil cases across a broad range of practice areas, including land use and natural resources, as well as administrative investigatory proceedings. Earlier, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Ted C. Tow III and as a law clerk intern for the Honorable Rebecca R. Freyre, both of whom are on the Colorado Court of Appeals.
In 2018, Ms. Rushovich received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law. During law school, she worked at the Wilderness Society in Denver and the Office of the Solicitor in the Department of the Interior in Boston, where she was responsible for researching environmental law and public lands issues. Ms. Rushovich also holds a B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, and Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Ms. Rushovich is a member of the Colorado Bar Association’s Environmental Law Section Advisory Council. She is also a member of The Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law, as well as the Colorado Women’s Bar Association.
