Paul Swanson is an associate in the Trial Department of Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. Prior to joining DGS, Mr. Swanson was a litigation associate at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP in New York City, and he served as a law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge Richard J. Sullivan of the Southern District of New York. His practice has focused on general commercial litigation, securities litigation, intellectual property litigation, appeals, white collar defense and investigations, and First Amendment law.
Mr. Swanson received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Cornell Law School, where he served as articles editor for the Cornell Law Review. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to law school, Mr. Swanson served as a policy aide in the Washington, D.C., offices of Congresswoman Ellen O. Tauscher of California and Congressman Harry E. Mitchell of Arizona.
