DENVER - April 19, 2016 - Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP was named by Law360 as one of the 100 Best Law Firms For Female Attorneys for the second year in a row. The rankings, which surveyed more than 300 law firms from across the country, found that 34 percent of all attorneys and 22 percent of partners at the U.S. law firms surveyed are women. At DGS, which was ranked at number 26, women comprise nearly a third of the firm's partnership and, overall, 38 percent of attorneys are women.
"DGS is committed to attracting and retaining attorneys who represent a multiplicity of cultures, ethnic backgrounds, and viewpoints," said Kenzo Kawanabe, DGS partner and co-chair of the Diversity & Inclusiveness Committee. "Not only do we retain a high percentage of female partners, but one-third of the members of our executive committee are women."
DGS has a strong track record of promoting gender equality, having received the Women in Law Empowerment Forum Gold Standard Certification by demonstrating that women represent a meaningful percentage of equity partners, leadership positions, governance and compensation committees, and most highly compensated partners.
