Governor Bullock Signs Executive Order Creating Interim Montana Clean Power Plan Advisory Council and Announces 27 Council Members
On November 12, 2015, Governor Steve Bullock issued an executive order creating the Interim Montana Clean Power Plan Advisory Council. The council will respond to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s final Clean Power Plan rule, which, among other changes from the proposed rules, increased Montana’s requirement for education of carbon dioxide emissions by 47 percent.
