DENVER - FEBRUARY 9, 2015 - Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP partner Erin McAlpin Eiselein was appointed Chair of the 9Health Fair Board of Trustees, as of January 1, 2015. 9Health Fair is Colorado's largest non-profit, volunteer-driven health fair and education program. In 2014, over 15,000 volunteers helped to provide health screenings and education to over 60,000 Coloradans. Ms. Eiselein previously served as Vice Chair of the organization and has been involved on the Board for many years.
DGS is a long-time supporter of 9Health Fair, and has provided pro bono legal services to the organization for the past 25 years. Ms. Eiselein's practice consists of litigation and counseling with an emphasis on health care law. She has a wide variety of complex commercial litigation experience, representing clients in cases involving misappropriation of trade secrets, trademark infringement, antitrust issues, First Amendment rights, contract law, and appellate matters. Ms. Eiselein has particular expertise in patient privacy matters, including state patient confidentiality laws and HIPAA, and has testified as an expert witness on these issues. She routinely assists clients on health care regulatory matters, ensuring that they do not run afoul of state and federal fraud and abuse laws and the myriad of other laws and regulations governing the health care industry.
