Lauren Gulley and Johnnie Nguyen Join DGS as Associates

Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that Lauren Gulley and Johnnie Nguyen have joined the firm as associates, expanding the transactional and litigation capabilities that DGS can provide to clients. Ms. Gulley is not currently admitted to practice law in Colorado but is admitted to practice in South Carolina. Mr. Nguyen is admitted to practice law in Colorado.

Lauren Gulley: Ms. Gulley’s practice encompasses a variety of commercial real estate matters. Prior to joining the DGS Real Estate Group, she was an associate at two South Carolina real estate law firms. Ms. Gulley has extensive experience in advising real estate developers, investors, lenders, purchasers, and sellers with regard to commercial financing, land use and development, planned unit developments, construction, real estate title insurance, and all aspects of structuring commercial loan and business transactions. She also works with both commercial landlords and tenants in the drafting and negotiation of leases for a variety of commercial properties. Ms. Gulley received her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law and her B.A. from The University of the South (Sewanee). She previously served as the President of Commercial Real Estate Women’s local Charleston chapter and is an active member of the South Carolina Women Lawyers’ Association.

Johnnie Nguyen: Mr. Nguyen’s practice has a broad emphasis on litigation. Before joining the DGS Trial Group, Mr. Nguyen worked in the Denver office of a large national law firm. There, he led conferral meetings with opposing parties to discuss settlements, pleadings, disclosures, and other filings. Mr. Nguyen possesses extensive experience in politics, having served as an intern for the White House, a legislative aide in the Colorado General Assembly, and later as a constituent advocate for U.S. Senator John W. Hickenlooper. He is also currently running for the University of Colorado’s Board of Regents, CD1. Mr. Nguyen received his J.D. and B.A. from the University of Colorado. During law school, he completed a number of externships and clerkships, including with the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, Magistrate Judge N. Reid Neuriter of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, Justice William W. Hood III of the Colorado Supreme Court, and the U.S. Attorneys’ Office in Colorado.
