Bio Sketch

Bob Lawrence is head of the firm’s Natural Resources Department and is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He practices environmental law with an emphasis on toxic torts, natural resource damages, vapor intrusion, and RCRA, CERCLA and Clean Water Act matters. His experience includes CERCLA natural resource damages cost recovery and contribution litigation, class action litigation, negotiation of complex multi-party waste cleanup agreements, general environmental litigation (including statutory and common law claims), hazardous materials transportation, RCRA criminal matters, voluntary cleanups, corrective action, vapor intrusion cases, development of strategies to address environmental considerations in mining and real estate transactions, multi-party/agency Brownfield development and resolution of enforcement, permitting and compliance issues under the Clean Water Act, the Safe Drinking Water Act, OSHA, NEPA, the Clean Air Act and various authorities regulating radioactive materials and waste. Mr. Lawrence’s practice includes Indian law environmental and natural resource matters in litigation, permitting and transactions.
