Sarah Kellner is a partner in the Property Rights Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. Ms. Kellner focuses her practice on complex real estate litigation involving land use, property tax appeals, landlord-tenant litigation, and condemnation. She has extensive experience providing comprehensive legal support to condemnors and landowners in a broad range of disputes, including acquiring the rights of way on expansive energy projects and representing landowners in condemnation negotiations and litigation covering small easement acquisitions to multi-million dollar takings.
Prior to joining DGS, Ms. Kellner was a partner in the Denver office of an international law firm. In her general real estate practice, she represented clients in complicated title disputes, handled high-profile trespass and environmental conflicts, and enforced and challenged property liens. In her condemnation practice, Ms. Kellner advised multiple utility and energy companies, enterprises with nationwide property portfolios, and retail centers to achieve maximum just compensation rewards. As a part of that work, she applied project management expertise from inception, during the planning and engineering phases, and through acquisition. Ms. Kellner has also represented clients in condemnations by RTD and CDOT and worked with local municipalities and other government entities on takings for urban renewal.
Ms. Kellner received her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School and earned her B.A. from Wake Forest University with honors. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
