Stephanie Block-Guedez is an associate in the Finance & Acquisitions Department at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. Her practice focuses on corporate and business law, including mergers & acquisitions, securities and capital markets transactions, technology transactions, and general corporate matters.
Ms. Block-Guedez maintains an active pro bono practice and was named the DGS 2020 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year. She focuses on representing clients who are seeking asylum and assisting with citizenship and permanent residency applications. Ms. Block-Guedez serves on the board of directors of KidsTek, a technology literacy nonprofit.
Prior to joining DGS, Ms. Block-Guedez worked at a Big Four public accounting firm, assisting public and private multinational corporations with the tax implications of mergers and acquisitions and reorganizations. She holds an M.S. in Accounting and an MBA from the Northeastern University D’Amore-McKim School of Business. During law school, she interned at Fidelity International, State Street Corporation, and the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.
Ms. Block-Guedez is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section. She is also a member of the Colorado Technology Association’s Young Professionals (YoPro) Board. Ms. Block-Guedez serves as a member of DGS’ Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee.
