December 9, 2021

Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has added two more associates who are admitted to practice law in Colorado: Nicholas R. Peppler and Nicole K. Rushovich. Their combined experience will contribute to the capabilities that DGS can propose to new and existing clients.

Nicholas R. Peppler is an associate in the DGS Trial Group, where his practice has an emphasis on complex commercial litigation, white-collar defense, construction litigation, and commercial leasing disputes. He was previously an attorney in the Denver office of a large international firm and was responsible for handling all aspects of commercial litigation cases, including those concerning contract disputes, consumer class actions, false advertising, trade secret disputes, unfair competition, and other business torts. He is a past secretary of the Denver Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and participated in the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation’s 2021 Impact Denver program. Mr. Peppler received his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law and his B.S. from the University of Oregon. During law school, he was a law clerk at the U.S. Attorney’s Office and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ann Aiken of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.

Nicole K. Rushovich is an associate in the DGS Environmental & Public Lands Group, where her practice has an emphasis on environmental law and litigation. Prior to joining DGS, Ms. Rushovich was an attorney at another business law firm headquartered in Denver. There, she represented clients in civil cases across a broad range of practice areas, including land use, natural resources, and employment disputes, as well as administrative investigatory proceedings. Earlier, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Ted C. Tow III and as a law clerk intern for the Honorable Rebecca R. Freyre, both of whom are on the Colorado Court of Appeals. Ms. Rushovich received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder. During law school, she worked as a summer associate and a legal intern, first at the Wilderness Society in Denver and then at the Office of the Solicitor in the Department of the Interior in Boston.
