Alecks Lewis

Associate

Alexandra (“Alecks”) K. Lewis’ practice is temporarily authorized in Colorado pending admission under C.R.C.P. 205.6.

Ms. Lewis is an associate in the Trial Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where her litigation practice focuses on antitrust, white-collar, and commercial matters.

Prior to joining DGS, Ms. Lewis was an associate in the Chicago office of an international law firm. While there, she represented large corporations and individual defendants in a wide range of civil and criminal antitrust and white-collar matters. Ms. Lewis was integral to a trial team that represented a former CEO in a first-ever criminal no-poach market allocation case. The client received a landmark acquittal on all counts following an eight-day jury trial in the District of Colorado. She drafted a summary judgment brief for an individual defendant in a trade secret misappropriation lawsuit, resulting in a favorable settlement dismissing the defendant from the case. She has also represented clients in a U.S. Department of Justice PCSF criminal investigation, an FTC merger investigation, and other civil antitrust actions.

Ms. Lewis maintains an active pro bono practice. She has represented individuals applying for legal immigration status and incarcerated individuals in civil rights actions and has provided counsel to a start-up company focused on promoting healthy pregnancy and post-partum outcomes for women of color.

Ms. Lewis received her J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, and earned her B.A. in International Relations and Spanish Language and Literature from Tulane University. While in law school, Ms. Lewis completed a full-time externship with the Antitrust Division at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, DC, and was an honors program extern with the Enforcement Division at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Los Angeles. In addition, Ms. Lewis served as chapter co-director for the International Refugee Assistance Project and was the policy editor-in-chief for the Project’s publication. As co-director, she provided pro bono assistance to Syrian Refugees seeking resettlement in Beirut, Lebanon, and managed student casework for Afghan and Iraqi SIV applicants. Ms. Lewis also participated in UC-Irvine’s Immigrant Rights Clinic, through which she provided pro bono representation for asylum seekers in USCIS custody.
