DGS Adds Three New Attorneys

Stephanie Danner has joined the Finance & Acquisitions Department at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, and Sarah Lozano and Courtney Shephard have joined the firm’s Natural Resources Department. 

Stephanie Danner 
Stephanie Danner is admitted to practice law in Colorado and is an associate in the firm’s Finance & Acquisitions Department. Her practice has an overarching emphasis on asset management. Before joining DGS, Ms. Danner worked as in-house counsel at ALPS Fund Services in Denver, Colorado. She received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2017 and holds a B.S. from Bentley University.

Sarah Lozano
Sarah Lozano is admitted to practice law in Texas, and her admission in Colorado is pending. She is an associate in the firm’s Energy Group, and her practice focuses primarily on natural resources and energy litigation, renewable and alternative energy, and oil and gas. Previously, Ms. Lozano worked in the Corporate Group at Locke Lord LLP in Houston, Texas. In 2017, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and The Order of the Barons. During law school, Ms. Lozano served as chief notes and comments editor for the Houston Law Review. She received her B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.

Courtney Shephard
Courtney Shephard is admitted to practice law in Colorado and New Mexico. She is an associate in the firm’s Natural Resources Department, where her practice focuses on public lands, energy, and water resources. Prior to joining DGS, she worked at a mid-sized firm in Denver. Ms. Shephard received her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School in 2014. During law school, she served as editor-in-chief of Volume 85 of the Colorado Law Review. She also holds an M.E.M. from Duke University and a B.A. from Colorado College. Ms. Shephard is a Schlessman Executive in Residence at Colorado College and teaches courses on interdisciplinary climate change economics and policy.
