Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that Dr. Dorothy Auth has joined the firm as a partner in the Technology Transactions & Intellectual Property Group.
With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Auth has deep expertise in navigating complex patent litigation, providing intellectual property licensing, patent procurement, and counseling services to her clients both domestically and internationally. Her practice covers a broad range of industries, including biotechnology, FinTech, medical devices, consumer products, computers, and other mechanical devices.
Prior to joining DGS, Dr. Auth was a partner and head of the Intellectual Property Group in the New York office of one of the oldest and most prominent financial law firms in the world. Throughout her career, she has represented many of the world’s leading institutions, including Credit Suisse, Torreya Partners, The Medicines Company (now Novartis), Pfizer, Medinol, Goldman Sachs, Anheuser Busch InBev, and the National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Auth is a past president of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association and has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the field of intellectual property law. She was recently named to the annual list of Intellectual Property Trailblazers published by the National Law Journal and a 2023 “IP Star” for Managing Intellectual Property. She earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, her Ph.D. at Tufts University School of Medicine, and her B.A. from Rutgers University. Dr. Auth is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.
