Ms. Van Broekhoven is an associate at Davis Graham &
Stubbs LLP, where she focuses her practice on corporate governance, mergers and
acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets. She
received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, her M.A.
in International Political Economy from the University of Kent, Brussels School
of International Studies, and her B.A. in International Affairs and Business
from the University of South Florida.
Prior to joining DGS, Ms. Van Broekhoven was a vendor strategy manager in the Boulder, Colorado, office of Google. While there, she worked on a broad range of commercial agreements and collaborated closely with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and operational challenges and implement consistent, competitive service agreements.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Van Broekhoven served as a
program manager and legal extern in the Denver office of Evelance Health, a
Fortune 100 health insurance plan provider. During her externship, she
responded to DOJ inquiries, authored a memo on “Who is the Client,” detailing
ethical challenges faced by in-house counsel, and participated in projects
reviewing international privacy law for data collection in India and Israel.
Before that, she worked for Raymond James Financial, a global financial
services company headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she obtained
her Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and Series 66
licenses.
