April 10, 2024

Join DGS for an in-depth conversation to help counsel who advise public and private companies understand the contours of addressing whistleblower complaints. The panelists will address how whistleblowers are defined by law, how they are incentivized to raise claims against or about a company, and what legal protections they are afforded to them under state and federal law. The panelists will also discuss the nuts and bolts of conducting an investigation to address a whistleblower complaint, with special attention to ethical considerations that implicate lawyers' Rules of Professional Conduct. The seminar will conclude with a discussion of specific case studies, recent trends, and practical takeaways.
